Operate winder systems safely and efficiently in accordance with legal and operational requirements.
Conduct daily inspections, system testing, and fault identification.
Maintain accurate operational logs, maintenance records, and incident reports.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to plan and execute winder-related tasks.
Ensure the safe movement of people, equipment, and ore in alignment with production schedules.
Contribute to a strong safety culture by adhering to all relevant legislation and company procedures.
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate of Competency.
Onsetter Certificate.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified Winding Engine Driver.
Medically fit for underground work, including Heat Tolerance and risk-based medical assessments.
