Description

We are looking for a young, dynamic graduate with excellent communication skills (extrovert) to be based in Ballito and who is prepared to travel regionally from time to time. The travel will be to Beira in Mozambique.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Financial accounting: Raise customer invoices together with supporting documentation. Process supplier invoices. Maintain relevant sub-ledgers and provide daily reports.
  • Supplier payments: Preparation and loading of supplier payments
  • Financial Reporting: Preparation of monthly management reports including analysis to support decision-making.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and develop cost-saving strategies to improve profitability and efficiency. Monitor and control operational costs and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast cash flows.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and preparation of budgets and forecasts, including tracking performance against budgets and analysing variances.
  • Internal Controls: Ensure that effective and optimised financial processes and controls are in place to maintain accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Credit insurance: Applying for credit insurance of customers together with monthly submission of declarations to credit insurer.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and business decisions.
  • Project Support: Where necessary, provide support for projects, including business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Any additional relevant tasks associated with supporting the trade.

Minimum Requirements

Financial Degree. Hons Degree would be huge advantage
