Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Systems Administrator to ensure the optimal performance, configuration and ongoing support of its Sage X3 environment and related business systems.

The successful candidate will support end-users, resolve system-related issues, implement improvements, create reports and dashboards, maintain databases, and assist with system upgrades and integrations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the optimal performance of Sage X3 and related add-on products.
  • Configure and upgrade Sage X3 to support effective system integration.
  • Develop customised reports and dashboards for end-users.
  • Investigate and resolve system problems reported by users or identified through system monitoring.
  • Develop and implement strategies for maintaining business systems.
  • Manage workflows and system configurations while minimising disruption to operations.
  • Provide ongoing Sage X3 training and support to end-users.
  • Develop sustainable training solutions to maintain high levels of user competency.
  • Participate in system analysis and identify opportunities to improve the use of business systems.
  • Perform system upgrades and create and maintain databases.
  • Import and manage data when required.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation and administrative records.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or an equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in systems administration, database administration or a similar environment.
  • Extensive hands-on experience working with Sage X3.
  • Proven experience in a business systems support environment.
  • Experience within accounting, distribution or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience presenting technical or system-related information to senior stakeholders within a medium-sized or larger organisation.
  • Sage X3 Certified Consultant qualification would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication, presentation and administrative skills.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise responsibilities and organise work effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Professional, ethical, dependable and results-driven.
  • Eagerness to learn and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
