Description

We are hiring a Branch Manager on behalf of a client that manufactures and distributes industrial batteries, chargers, and related power systems. The branch will serve clients across motive-power, reserve power, material handling, telecom, renewable installations, and related sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all branch operations: sales, service, inventory, logistics, and customer support
  • Lead, coach, and develop the branch team (sales, technical, admin)
  • Drive branch revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency
  • Manage budgets, branch P&L, and monthly performance metrics
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery
  • Coordinate with head office on inventory, marketing, training, and strategy
  • Grow market share in the branch’s geographic territory; identify new business opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in industrial / technical product sector (batteries, power systems, electrical)
  • Proven branch or regional management experience, ideally in B2B or capital goods
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and financial acumen
  • Excellent sales and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to manage technical staff and understand product/service issues
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region
  • Reside within reasonable proximity to the branch location (or willing to relocate)
