Leading and supervising a team of electricians, assistants, and apprentices
Performing repairs and planned maintenance on all electrical equipment on site
Installing electrical systems on new equipment
Improving and modifying existing equipment upon approval
Ensuring all electrical installations comply with legal and safety standards
Fault-finding and repairing machinery and electrical systems
Coordinating daily work routines, shift coverage, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Managing overtime, controlling critical spares, and distributing resources effectively
Electrical Trade Test
Minimum 10 years’ supervisory experience
NTC6 in Electrical Engineering
Wireman’s Licence – advantageous
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, power reticulation (12V to 11kV)
Experience with PLCs, Variable Speed Drives, instrumentation and transformers
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Able to work under pressure, in dusty conditions, and perform standby duties
