Rohlig Grindrod, a global logistics company, and Cletech Cares, a non-profit organisation, joined forces to empower young entrepreneurs through an innovative Corporate Social Investment (CSI) project, the Project Legacy Business Legacy program. This project aims to promote entrepreneurship and help young people develop essential skills to start and grow their businesses.
Weco
Work Readiness
Programme
Cletech Cares facilitated a Work Readiness program for Weco, aimed at addressing the challenges faced by South Africa’s youth, with an unemployment rate of 49.14%. The program benefited 8 unemployed young people, providing them with essential skills such as CV writing, interview techniques, and workplace etiquette to enhance their employability and improve their access to job opportunities.
Masslift
Work readiness programme -
Moletsane High School
Masslift Africa partnered with Cletech Cares to host the “Recruit You(th)” Work Readiness program, designed to equip young people with essential job skills. The latest edition at Moletsane High School benefited 173 matriculants, covering key areas like CV writing, interview techniques, dressing for success, understanding trades, and workplace etiquette, all aimed at easing the transition from school to the workplace for young South Africans.
A squared & Chase Technologies Period Poverty Outreach - Buhlebuzile Secondary School
A Square Forklift, CHASE Technologies, and Youth Aid 21, in partnership with Cletech Cares, launched a menstrual intervention initiative to address period poverty and promote gender equality. At Buhlebuzile Secondary School in Thokoza, 850 packs of reusable pads were distributed to school girls, lasting up to 5 years with proper care. The initiative also included an intimate health education program to empower young women with knowledge about their bodies and reduce the stigma around menstruation.
Toyota/CFAO
Durban employee Anti-hijacking Workshop
Toyota/CFAO, in partnership with Cletech Cares and Kalah Combat Systems, facilitated an Anti-hijacking workshop for 20 staff members and drivers. The workshop equipped participants with life-saving skills, including how to de-escalate hostile situations related to vehicle crime and escape with minimal harm. It began with a theoretical session to build understanding, followed by stress-based self-defense simulations held at the client’s premises.
Bidvest Material Handling Period Poverty Outreach -
Sir Pierre Van Ryneveld High School
Bidvest Materials Handling, in collaboration with Cletech Cares, facilitated a menstrual intervention program at Sir Pierre Van Ryneveld High School. In efforts to uplift, educate, and empower young women, 1,023 schoolgirls were provided with reusable pad packs, designed to last up to 5 years with proper care. The program also included an intimate health education session to break the stigma surrounding menstruation and ensure a sustainable, long-term impact.

St Ansgar's Combined School (Lanseria) & Kwena Molapo Farm School
Krones, in partnership with Cletech Cares, led a menstrual intervention program at St Ansgar’s Combined School in Lanseria and Kwena Molapo Farm School. A total of 1,403 schoolgirls were provided with reusable pad packs, designed to last up to 5 years with proper care, as part of an effort to uplift, educate, and empower young women. The program also featured an intimate health education session to break menstrual stigma and promote sustainable, long-term impact.
